Abyssal Depth

Abyssal Depth explores the quiet immensity of the deep ocean, where light dissolves and form emerges through layers of time and compression. Darkened blues and mineral tones are built through textured strata, evoking submerged landscapes shaped by gravity and silence.

This mixed media work invites slow looking, a study of depth not as emptiness, but as presence. The surface holds subtle fractures and softened edges, suggesting both erosion and endurance beneath the surface.

Saturated teal and turquoise tones swirl into rust and shadow, forming an atmospheric composition inspired by the strange quiet of deep water. Textured layers, fluid blooms, and organic fractures give the piece a mysterious, otherworldly feel. Part of the Abyssal collection.
